PROJECT COST + PAYMENT TIMELINE

Participation in the Wild Creative South Africa Rewilding Project is limited to 10 people total.

We will spend 6 days with Kukama Wildlife College, working and learning alongside the team as they continue the process of rewilding a former cattle farm and restoring the property for native South African wildlife.

Your Project Cost

Kukama Wildlife College: approximately $322 USD per person

This includes:

  • 6 days on the property

  • Accommodation

  • Meals

  • Rewilding and conservation programming with the Kukama team

Kukama charges R900 per person, per day, or R5,400 for the six-day experience. Because Kukama is paid in South African Rand, the exact USD amount may change slightly depending on the exchange rate at the time each payment is made.

Ground Transportation

Round-trip transportation between Johannesburg Airport and the property is estimated at approximately $1,600 for the group, or approximately $160 per person with a full group of 10.

The transportation payment will be collected in full in October.

We recommend planning for approximately $500 per person, plus airfare to South Africa, to account for minor exchange-rate fluctuations.

Your Commitment

This project is limited to 10 total participants. Joining the team represents a serious commitment to the December project, as Wild Creative will make payments and travel arrangements based on the number of confirmed participants.

The exact USD amount of the Kukama payments may vary slightly because our South African partners are paid in South African Rand.

International airfare to South Africa is not included and is the responsibility of each participant.
