The Tetons are where I truly learned to trek and camp. In 2012 I pitched my first tent beneath those jagged peaks and fell hard for the raw beauty of this place and the wildlife that moves through it. The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem—of which Grand Teton is a part—is often called the “Serengeti of North America”, and rightfully so: dawn bugles from elk in the meadows, grizzly bears turning stones along the river, pronghorn and bison threading the valleys, and autumn cottonwoods lighting the banks of the Snake River. Here, mountains tower like a skyline, and the seasons arrive with purpose—color, migration, and that crisp air that makes you breathe a little deeper.

This is also where our community began. Co-founder Alan Tomassetti and I met on a trail here, and the conversation that followed sparked Wild Creative—a space for people who love and respect nature to meet, make, and learn together. We’re excited to share this place with you and to create an environment where every creator feels welcome: Get ready for early mornings, quiet moments by the river, stories around camp. Come ready to explore, to connect, and to let this landscape shape your work in ways you’ll carry long after you leave.

  • Laura

    Photographer

Hi! I’m Laura. I’m a mortgage lender as my full time career but my true desire is to be in nature as often as possible. I believe we get so caught up in rushing through life that many people miss the beauty of it all. I work hard but also don’t believe in working your life away. There is so much more out there. A heart of gratitude and being able to slow down to soak the beauty of nature in… that’s the winning ticket in life. That’s the kind is rich life I chase!

I have loved the outdoors and camping since I was a child.  Sitting around a campfire with friends or family is one of my top favorite things to do in this life. I believe nature is healing. When I’m in the mountains, it’s where I feel the closest to God.

  • Kim

    Photographer

For the past 20 years, I have worked as a musician in a municipal choir in South Korea while also serving as a conductor and educator. While music has been at the core of my life, photography has always been another creative outlet—one that has allowed me to capture the vastness of the world, especially after moving to the United States.

Now based in Dallas, I am exploring the intersection of education and photography, seeking ways to go beyond simply capturing beautiful images to create meaningful art that brings joy and inspiration to others. I am particularly interested in how storytelling through photography can connect with people on a deeper level, just as music does. By integrating my experiences in music, education, and visual storytelling, I hope to find new ways to enrich lives and share unique perspectives.

    Videography & Painting

The healing powers of the wild are no secret, yet we are reminded of them often enough and crave the dirt, the vibrancy, and enjoy the lure. The hard work that’s needed? Worth it. The botanical smells alone are abundant. Those who get it can’t get enough of it. A connection with the land that can’t be denied. I find deep meaning in the free amenities of the outdoors.
