Our Mission
Wild Creative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to environmental education and conservation storytelling through the arts. We convene photographers, filmmakers, writers, musicians, visual artists, scientists, students, and curious learners in immersive natural environments to cultivate ecological literacy and creative observation.
We empower participants to act as citizen scientists—engaged observers who research, document, and interpret wild landscapes through responsible creative practice.
Wild Creative bridges the gap between science and storytelling by equipping scientists with creative communication tools and inspiring creatives to use their craft in the service of conservation. Through immersive gatherings, fellowship programs, collaborative partnerships, and public media initiatives, we foster a community of “Creatives for a Cause” dedicated to stewarding, protecting, restoring, and rewilding wild places.
Beyond awareness and storytelling, Wild Creative seeks to inspire meaningful environmental action. We support conservation initiatives that promote habitat restoration, biodiversity protection, ethical wildlife stewardship, and long-term ecological resilience. As the organization grows, we aim to collaborate/spearhead projects with other conservation groups, researchers, educators, and local communities that directly contribute to the preservation and recovery of ecosystems and species around the world.
We believe creativity has the power not only to inspire wonder, but to create lasting change. By fostering deeper connections between people and the natural world, Wild Creative encourages a future where storytelling, science, conservation, and community work together to help wild places thrive for generations to come.
