Grand Teton National Park
Experience the raw beauty, ecological complexity, and creative inspiration of Grand Teton National Park during the height of autumn. The Grand Teton Wild Creative Meetup is more than a creative gathering — it is an immersive experience designed to deepen your relationship with the natural world through storytelling, observation, curiosity, and community.
This year’s meetup places an even stronger emphasis on the naturalist approach that has organically evolved within Wild Creative over the years. Together, we will not only photograph and create within these landscapes, but actively engage with them — learning about the wildlife, geology, ecology, flora, conservation challenges, and interconnected systems that make the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem one of the most extraordinary wild regions left on Earth.
Participants will be encouraged to slow down, observe deeply, ask questions, research species and ecosystems, and creatively interpret what they learn through their own artistic mediums. Whether through photography, filmmaking, journaling, painting, writing, field sketching, sound recording, or simple observation, this experience is about cultivating a deeper awareness of place.
Who Is This For?
Wild Creative meetups are open to anyone inspired by creativity, curiosity, and the natural world — regardless of skill level or background. You do not need to be a professional artist, scientist, or experienced outdoors person to belong here.
These gatherings are designed for photographers, filmmakers, writers, musicians, painters, naturalists, educators, conservationists, students, and anyone seeking a deeper connection with wild places and the people who care about them.
This is a space for exploration rather than perfection. A place to disconnect from constant output and reconnect with curiosity, wonder, observation, and meaningful human connection.
Whether you are documenting wildlife with a camera, sketching landscapes in a journal, researching native plants, recording sounds, writing poetry, or simply learning to notice the small details around you — you are welcome here.

Autumn in the Tetons
Fall Foliage
Late September brings vibrant color to the Tetons, with glowing aspens, willows, cottonwoods, and alpine vegetation transforming the valleys into gold, orange, and crimson.
Wildlife Activity
Autumn is one of the most dynamic seasons in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem:
Elk bugling and rut activity
Moose gathering near wetlands and rivers
Increased bear activity before winter
Migratory birds moving through the region
Opportunities to observe changing seasonal behavior across species
Why This Experience Matters
Wild places have the power to transform people.
Many attendees leave Wild Creative gatherings with a deeper understanding of ecology, conservation, public lands, and humanity’s connection to nature. The Tetons become more than scenery — they become a living classroom, a creative muse, and a reminder of what is worth protecting.
This meetup is designed to inspire not only creativity, but stewardship.
